SANS needs your help. SANS is a group of concerned citizens working together to advocate education for suicide prevention. No special skills are required, just a willingness to talk about the problem of suicide and point out that there are options available for communities to deal with the problem. That's all that's needed. If you are a member of a church or a social organization who can advocate our cause in your organization, we can use your help. If you have a voice in a school board or town government, we can use your help. If you are a health professional who will lend their credibility and expertise to the task of educating the public to not fear talk of suicide prevention, we can use your help. If you are a police officer or any emergency responder who is willing to work with us to bring services to your brethren who all too often succumb to the powers of depression, we can use your help. If you are a lawyer or business professional with knowledge of non-profit operations we can use your help. If you just want to get involved with a good cause, we can use your help.
